Hello, my name is Aaron Ashley and I'm a freelance illustrator specializing in technical, product, and instructional illustration. I create highly detailed digital illustrations to visually communicate complex information for clients in advertising, publishing, science and engineering. My passion includes realistic vector illustration, 2D & 3D illustration, line art, instructional and informational illustration.

 

Prior to my freelance career, I worked in-house as an illustrator where I developed my skills and passion for realistic vector illustration. During this time, I produced a wide variety of automotive, technical and product illustrations for use in advertising, brochures, manuals, and product packaging.

 

After studying graphic design at Iowa State University, I continued my education at Northern Illinois University, where I graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in illustration.

 

When I'm not busy cranking out illustrations, I love spending time with my amazing wife and kids, working out, playing golf, and watching sports.
